From the unmediated blog comes this schematic for an open-media distribution system that would allow for the sharing of creative commons, archival and other media in a distributed system. There is great opportunity to leverage these systems for the use by community media. Apart from the technology themselves, marketing and community connections will be a key factor to success. There is an opportunity for community media and technology centers to push these endeavors forward.
